Help Center - What are the Top 25s?

The Top 25s are the top 25:

• Swappers (the 25 swappers who have the most successfully completed outgoing requests)

• Posted DVDs (the 25 DVDs that have been posted the most often)

• Requested DVDs (the 25 DVDs that have been requested most often)

• Wished-for DVDs (the 25 DVDs that have been added to the most Wish Lists)

on SwapaDVD. You can view the Top 25s by three different time periods: last 7 days, last 30 days, and all time  ("all-time Top 25 swappers" is the default view on the Top 25s page).  You can view the Top 25s by clicking Top 25s under Community in the main toolbar at the top of any page on the site. 

Why use the Top 25s?

• The lists let you see what's happening clubwide:
  • Who's sending out the most DVDs
  • What DVDs are getting posted the most often
  • What DVDs are getting requested (Wish List offers or regular requests) the most often
  • What DVDs are being put on Wish Lists by the most members
  • You can even do some fancy analysis:
    • for example, if 50 people put a specific DVD on their Wish Lists last week, but 68 people were able to request a copy of that DVD, you can tell how fast that Wish List is moving, and decide if you want to get on board!
    • You can compare the Top 25s for the week from week to week, and see how things are changing.
