I love Eddie Murphy, no matter what he does, it's good! I adored Randy Quaid as the Robot. Good entertainment.

Appealing little movie, a couple smiles, nothing side-splitting, different sort of setting. I know this movie was on the shelf for a couple years before release, but I still like it. It's a lightweight story that probably cost a lot to produce and was never going to make it back.

We loved this movie..Eddie Murphy is in the future on another planet playing a duo role.
Randy Quaid as a robot is great and such a loyal servant!!
I agree with the pre-set review, Eddie Murphy is so funny in this movie(which movie is he not funny in} The trouble he gets in and out of makes your tummy hurt as you laugh so hard. Randy Quaid role puts him in something other than the "bad guy" role he usually does. Though he has played the funny man in the past, and he is great!
Don't miss the car with the personality, There are many little slap-stick things in this movies such as the car that you will lol & rotf.
I have watched this movie so much I really can repeat the line with them.
I strongly suggest Pluto Nash for a fun loving laugh out loud movie with your friend, loved ones or by your self.

Absolutely the WORST movie of 2002!

"I am delighted this movie is coming to DVD. It is absolutely awful--and sitting through it is like sitting through a 90-minute car wreck. The story is absurd and pointless, and it's fun to try and imagine at what point in filming Eddie Murphy gave up and just started to mail it in. Thanks to the DVD medium, not only can we watch this mess again and again (it's sure to become a cult classic), we can also gain some insight by listening to the director's commentary. This is a movie that's so bad, so misguided, and so poorly executed that one can only wonder "what in the world were they thinking?!" Movies like that don't come along every day (or do they?) and you have to enjoy them while you can. This DVD is a MUST HAVE purchase!"

"This "movie" wasn't even screened to critics prior to its release. It firebombed at the box office, incuring a huge loss for Warner Bros, which burned ... million to finance this film. Eddie Murphy has since distanced himself from the movie as far as he possibly could. Ask yourself: can you blame him?"
I thought it was good...

"Although this movie doesn't depict the Eddie Murphy we all might think, if you put your expectations of Eddie aside and just watch the movie, it's actually pretty good. I wouldn't say it was my favorite Sci-Fi Comedy movie, but I'm tired of people giving it a bad rap just because they focus on Eddie Murphy doing something "different" than what they expect.
If you want to watch this movie because you loved "Eddie Murphy Raw" then maybe you shouldn't watch it...however, if you want to laugh at light-hearted humor, then I think it's definitely worth the watch."

"It's a two or three star movie, but I enjoyed it so that's all that counts. It was a dumb movie, but entertaining. Need I go on? As for the production value; no complaints. It would be nice to see the "Sixth Element" or "Starship Troopers II", but I don't think I'm going to get my wish. So cheesy movies like this and Tremors III will do. You can tell their reach was further than their grasp and there is a little money thrown at the movie. The CGI is nice, acting was what you'd expect. I didn't belly laugh or anything but maybe a giggle. What else can I say? As for everyone who hated Pluto Nash; what did you expect?"
