Two tabloid reporters hunt Gurdy, seeking a story about serial killers. Naturally, these reporters learn more than they'd like to know. 100 TEARS is a throwback to that 1970s, drive-in/grindhouse style of horror. Raw, visceral, graphic gore. The film was shot in Florida (home of supermarket tabloids), which adds to that atmosphere. In the 2008 Tabloid Witch Awards (a horror film contest and festival, based in Santa Monica, California), 100 TEARS won an Honorable Mention, plus Best Actress for Georgia Chris, and Best Supporting Actress for Raine Brown." |
