Movie Reviews

This DVD is much better than "Live From Shanghai"

"This set came with the DVD and Shining Energy music CD. If you really want to watch these girls perform, this is the DVD that you want to get. They rolled cameras from different angles so you get to see each girl evenly. The image quality is much better than Shanghai DVD. The difference is like VHS versus DVD. They played several Japanese songs and talked to the audience in Japanese. But it shouldn't bother too much. The song tiles are displayed(subtitled) in English."
Good performance, good DVD

"The performance is good and the DVD is well made. The cameras track and capture the performers' movement as music flows. The same can't be said for some other DVD's! This is a keeper for the fans of this group."
Wow !

"An excellent concert.
Beautiful girls, beautiful music.
A class production.
And no annoying guest singers."

"I had never heard of the "12 Girls Band" until quite recently. If you like a diversity of music, you will enjoy this. The band members play Far East music on traditional instruments, most of which I had never seen or heard before. They are incredibly talented and fun to watch perform. Usually I am not fond of oriental music, but this DVD had me fascinated and glued to watching it. The cover alone is of interest, with them posing standing in shallow water with a chair behind playing their instruments - and other scenes of them in performance. They are incredible musicians!"
