Movie Reviews

My 4 year old loves it!!!!

"This dvd is one of my son's absolute favorites!!! He is obsessed with garbage trucks and watches this at least once a week. It is also educational! I am a public school pre-k teacher and show this dvd when we talk about recycling. The process of recycling is explained so that even small children can understand it and it shows enough big garbage trucks and stinky landfills to keep your little trash truck lover engaged!!! Definitely worth the money!!!!!"
My two kids LOVE it!

"I bought this for my four year old son who is infatuated with trucks, and especially garbage trucks. This DVD has two sections. One is for Garbage trucks and one is for Trucks. The garbage trucks section did not catch my son's attention and he was bored quickly. He never asked to watch it and he simply says no when i offer to play it for him. I have to admit that i was disappointed myself because it focused so much on recycling, which is a good thing to teach for kids, but I was hoping that it would have more scenes that catches my son's attention, such as garbage trucks picking up garbage from the street and the whole action of it emptying the garbage so it would catches my son's attention.

The second section, however, is a different story! My son AND my three year old daughter LOVE to watch and ask to watch it at least three times a day! My son ALWAYS asks me to skip the garbage truck section and just play the trucks section. My kids are VERY picky when it comes to watching a show and they tend to get bored easily with almost all the DVDs i get for them, including Barney, Elmo, brainy baby...etc, they stay GLUED to this one. Hart Hat Harry talks about verities of different kinds of trucks, including garbage trucks, 18 wheelers, and odd shaped trucks; such as the Oscar Mayer and army trucks which turn into bridge; he talks about snow plow, bucket trucks, street sweepers, tow trucks...etc. It focuses more on the 18 wheelers trucks, which my kids did not mind at all. He dedicated a small section for garbage trucks and how they pick up trash cans, which was much better than the garbage truck section, believe it or not. My kid's favorite is when the Oscar Mayer car passes by. They laugh so hard when they see it..lol

This DVD has become my kid's favorite, I just ordered Hard Hat Harry trains and helicopters and Hard Hat Harry trucks and fire trucks from eBay and I'm just hoping that they would like it as much!"
Yep, NO Trash Trucks

"So, I read the reviews. My boy is 4.5 so he's able to listen to the wealth of information it tells you about Garbage and Recycling, but he was sooooo disappointed that there were no trash trucks in action.
If you kid likes to learn and likes hearing about the "how" then this will be great for them. If you he/she just wants to see some garbage trucks in action, forget it."
