This is a wonderful movie, and used to be on tv during the holidays. For some reason, it stopped being shown, but it meant so much to us that I had to buy a copy. It is a great story with wonderful acting and a very heartwarming message. It's a human drama which takes place in a time I remember as a child. It's about family, friends, and community, and the joys and sorrows that come to them. It's a look at the world through the eyes of children as they face the excitement of Christmas and life's hard realities. This is a perfect movie to add to your Christmas traditions.

This is the story of two young boys from different financial backgrounds who become close friends. One of the boys has a very ill sister.
Very touching story with 1950's time frame.
This is an amazing story. Great family movie. I would highly recommend it!
