Movie Reviews

Sets a new standard for concert dvds
James H. Bailes Jr. | 08/12/2006
(5 out of 5 stars)

"The main concert footage was taken when Chris Amott was still in the band. The audio and video quality are way beyond any music dvd I have ever seen. This should come as no suprise, as Arch Enemy is known for giving its fans alot of bang for their buck. Includes additional concert footage on disc 1, although it's not an entire show. Not enough space on just one disc. Disc 2 consists of all videos Arch Enemy has released since Angela joined, to include alternate versions. 2 different documentaries are included with no commentary, really, just set to an AE tune. A slide show (a staple in special features)and a very extensive interview section are included. Aside from an indirect comment in the interview section about world politics, I found this package to be flawless. I just wish politics were not such a part of culture."
Killer DVD!!!

"Awesome picture and sound. Flawless performances. Great drum solo, Amott brothers shredding together, tons of extras. I say the best dvd of any available!!"
Wow!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

"What can I say. It's Arch Enemy! This dvd is sick and brutal! The live stuff is killer and the camera work is great! Arch Enemy can really whip a crowd into a frenzy! Anyone who has seen them live in person will tell you that! Including myself, I have had the honor of witnessing the destruction three times. I just got it so I haven't checked everything out yet, but I'm sure it's sick! The live stuff alone is well worth it. But this dvd has more for you. Interviews, life on the bus, touring, videos and so on. This dvd is better than slayer's dvd, War at the Warfield! Don't believe me? Get this and see for yourself. You won't be able to stop banging your head. All hail the ENEMY! Buy it, Buy it, Buy it, Buy it, Buy it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

"...Just WOW ! I thought I had seen it all when i saw the Dream theater at Budokan DVD...killer live performance, great visual and audio recording, tons of entertaining extra's...evrything,but this DVD beats the Budokan one. There is not a single weak track here...Killer riffs, mindblowing solo's and most of all DANIEL ERLANDSON ...all captured in superb cinematic angles and crisp sound. The bonus disc is fun,esp the candid interviews bit...Sharlee is a funny guy,Angela comes across as a very warm and intense person...all in all,its a blast."
