Movie Reviews

Terrific Bible-Story Video for my Baby!!
TN Mom | Memphis | 03/13/2005
(5 out of 5 stars)

"I was really impressed by the Baby Miracle Noah's Ark video for my 14 month old daughter. I was looking for a bible-story alternative to the Baby Einstein video my daughter likes. My daughter watched the video the whole way through, smiling through the many beautiful images of animals. I was excited to be able to share such a great Bible story with her! I tried a Baby Faith video (I think God Made Animals) but it did not capture her attention at all. I was actually disappointed by Baby Faith in that their videos are not story based and are tied togetehr by a bunch of random, non-educational images. I highly recommend Baby Miracle to parents looking to share an educational and entertaining Bible story with their children."
Don't want to sound like a grump...

"You can read my other review of the other product but both of the Baby Miracle videos, in my opinion, are lame. In a nutshell, these are Baby Einstein wanna-bes without the quality or creativness. I hope I can get my money back! I was (and am) very disappointed.

On the positive side, for those of you looking for biblical content with the quality and creativeness, we like the Babyfaith Series. They have three great videos for babies and toddlers.
We've tried the Praise Kids and the Baby Good Sports by Kurt Warner - they are okay but not as good as the Babyfaith videos."
A truly Christian oriented video

"I bought this video with no knowledge of the brand, but I was really attracted to the fact that it is Christian-oriented. While I do have some other baby videos (Baby Einstein included of course!) I found this one unique.

What's great is that my 2 year-old and my 3 year-old love the video and that makes me happy because it not only teaches them about a wide range of animals but also introduces them to some of the songs I learned when I was little.

It's true that the Christian "choir" is not entirely perfect, but it sounds like a bunch of average kids in class singing which I don't mind because it sounds real. And my toddlers love it because I think it sounds like them!!!

I agree that in some place there is some repetition of footage, but my kids don't seem to mind and actually when I watch it with them I just point out the animals when they come back again.

What I like is that unlike the Baby MacDonald and Baby Noah videos (both of which I own), this video actually tells the story of Noah. It's such a great Christian children's story and I think this video is a great way to bring it to life. I definitely recommend this video and I appreciate its realness."
Very disappointing

"This vidoe is so hyped up and yet when we watched it, we were very, very disappointed. I read another review thinking that is was going to be so biblical and it really wasn't.

On the other hand, our baby like all of the Baby Faith videos (and books)- God Made Me, God Made Animals and God Made Music. These feel much more professional and really keep our baby's attention as well as give a great intro to the bible."
