Awsome Band! Great Production! Spectacular HIGH-DEF Master
eastvillage | Greenleaf, Utah | 12/09/2009
(5 out of 5 stars)

"Just to clarify, this Blu-ray disc does play on US machines. This concert is the best Blu-ray showcase my TV has ever put out. Perfect mastering crystal sharp with the exception of a few audience closeup shots that are apalling (I think it was some different camera format in the crowd of people that couldnt be fixed). At first I thought this band was a little cheap because they do a lot of covers and ballads, but they really have grown on me. Everybody sounds great, although something is wrong with Stephen Gately's singing. He sounds weak at times, forced at times and just not as cool as he sounded 10 years ago on the albums. This is a pretty big production with at least 8 female dancers, lots of props and more lights than any concert I've ever seen which might be why it looks so spectacular in HD. They also fly over the audience and shoot out of toasters. You also see them shirtless for the entire "Going Gets Tough" song and they sing on treadmills. My favorite songs are "Picture of You' "All That I Need' and 'Love Me For A Reason". I wish the "Where We Belong" album had been bigger in the US but what can you do. Their new single, "Love Is A Hurricane" is cool and a new rougher sound kind of like when Backstreet Boys came out with the "Never Gone" album. Get this Blu-ray!!"
