Movie Reviews

Get Backers
Nicholas Jensen | USA | 11/02/2005
(5 out of 5 stars)

"Overall Get backers is one of my favorite anime series. I enjoyed the chars, most of the plot, and the animation. Some disc are better then others as any series, and the last is no exception. There is only 4 episodes on the last disc (10) but it was still pretty enjoyable. We are always sad to see good series end yet at the same time we cant wait to see what happens to our favorite chars. I wont spoil the ending for anyone, but I will say it was a good ending compared to most anime with a sad or tragic ending. However that being said, I was kinda disappointed in the resolution of the climax, the show builds up tension between Ginji and his old ally fight (light vs Lightning) was extremely disappointing. I was truely hopeing for alot more action but ohwell atleast we get to see ban beet up on Dr. Jackle and Kanou."
