"Very helpful tool ...To be honest, I've never wanted my daughter's to get involved in pageants. I always worried about tem getting low self-esteems or eating disorders from all the subjective judging. My daughter begged me to order this DVD. We have used it as our guide to the pageant world. Thanks to this DVD, I've been able to understand how wonderful pageants can be for girls. Using guidelines included in the DVD we've entered several local pageants and so far my daughter is loving the experience. Pageants are like anything else, you have to be educated so that you can spot the good from the bad. This DVD is a road map through this new world..."

"This is a wonderful learning tool for girls that are going into pageants - at any age. Girls that have been participating in pageants it helps you aware of things you would need to do differently. Hiring this kind of talent/coaching would really cost alot. You are also getting a judges point of view. I would have liked to have had this inside info 5 years ago. Try this video, you cannot go wrong either way. Great resource tool!!"

"I was expecting inside information on what to do at a child's pageant, i.e. how to walk on stage, what to wear etc. This is geared for adult pageants only. There was no helpful information for child pageants."

Great for contestants new to pageants!

"This DVD is great for any person who is new to pageants and has not done ANY research! I am new to pageants and I have done plenty of research, therefore, this DVD was not very beneficial to me. Almost all of the information discussed were things that I already knew. And depending on what type of pageant you are doing, you may find that there are tips discussed that are not beneficial to you. For instance, during the evening gown segment, the contestant wore a dress with a slit up the middle and a long train. That is absolutely not acceptable in the pageant I am competing in.

I was kind of disappointed because I thought this DVD was going to show examples of walking on the runway in your evening gown, however, it did not. I also thought that there were going to be more examples of interview questions, but there were only a few. If you are going to buy this DVD, I suggest purchasing it from a marketplace seller. With shipping and handling my total was a little over $6. I am VERY happy I did not pay the $10.99 rate that Amazon offers because it is NOT worth it!"
