White Zombie - Seems like a good plotline but the video is poor quality and the audio is so bad, it hisses the whole time! Make a break for it!

White Zombie - A couple are coaxed by Monsieur Beaumont to get married on his Haitian plantation. Beaumont's motives are purely selfish as he makes every attempt to convince the woman, Madeleine, to run away with him. For help Beaumont turns to the devious Legendre, a man who runs his mill by mind controlling people he has turned into "zombies." After Beaumont uses Legendre's zombie potion on Madeleine, he is dissatisfied with her emotionless being and he wants her changed back. Legendre has no intention of doing this and he drugs Beaumont as well to add to his zombie collection. Meanwhile, the man, Neil, is convinced by a priest that Madeleine may still be alive so he tries to find her. I rate this a 2.5 out of 5.

The Corpse Vanishes - The plot of this movie is about a "doctor" that steals young brides by making them appear to die. He needs them because he extracts some bodily fluid from them to keep his aged wife looking young. A female reporter has been watching the case develop and has a hunch its the doctor who is doing the dastardly deed. Most of the movie is about her investigation of the "doctor" and how she solves the crime. I rate it a 2.5 out of 5.

Scared to Death - This movie seems to be suffering and identity crisis. It's a thriller, no it's comedy, no it's a thriller-comedy. I don't know if the comedy was intentional, but it's pretty prevalent in the movie. There wasn't anything I'd consider thriller-like in this movie anymore, but more like mystery now. A woman's body in the morgue is about to have an autopsy performed on it. The movie is presented in flashbacks of what happened to lead her to where she is and solve the mystery of her death. I rate this a 1.5 out of 5.
