Great set, despite some bad acting.

"This is a great treat for Ben Folds fans.
The set list is wonderful and does not rely too heavily on his standards; No Brick, no Song For The Dumped or Best Imitation Of Myself, and that is fine by me. I would have loved to see Landed or Late added to the set list ; but that is a minor complaint. Actually it's not even a complaint, really. Ben is in fine form, his band is great. The audience is into it. They also become part of the show a few times. (Check out the "ringtone orchestra"). The reason this one gets a one star demerit is for the bad acting, both with "titler" and the guy who "jumps" from the balcony. I love zany, but both of these "scripted" elements didn't work for me, and took me right out of the show.
That being said, you should get it for the music. You should get it because Ben Folds knows how to write great songs. You should get it because it's Ben Folds

"I own all the live dvd's out by Ben Folds and this is another great volume in the collection. This one is definitely special because he is performing in his own studio. The little twists thrown in there give it a light hearted fun filler! Anyone who enjoys a little piano and honest lyrics should give this a try. Since this was performed on myspace, it provides a new generation with Ben Folds.
Overall anyone who is a fan, this is a must. Anyone who does not know him (where have you been?), should check out Ben, he is a good artist for a time of crappy hacks and followers."
