If You Like Inu Yasha This Series Is Also A Good Choice As W

"This series reminded me greatly of Inuyasha in that you have the young lady with spiritual powers Momiji Fujimiya who while unsure and afraid of her powers has an inner strength and tenacity to finish the job that's been passed to her. Than you have Mamoru Kusanagi who at first threatens to kill Momiji than actually starts protecting her from both her enemies as well as some of the people who claim to be helping her. The story is very deep and thought provoking if you take time to really understand it, but I like probably most others don't usually do that. So the short jist of the series story is that there is a demonic plant-like spirit called Aragami for unknown reasons is trying to destroy Japan, Thus a special group contacts Momiji who has in her the ancient bloodline of the Kushinada who were said to have great spiritual powers and to be able to destroy the Aragami for good. The picture quality is decent no smugness or distortions to complain about. The Japanese voice actors did a superb job for their characters but the English cast for the series I would say were 50/50 some were o.k. others were just horrible. The set also comes with the Blue Seeds three OVA episodes in with the Ova's the English voice cast for those was much better. So if you like Inuyasha or mystical action animes this is a good one to look at for your collection...."

"Blue Seed is a good series. It begins with a mysterious glow-girl talking to one of the cast members in the beganing, in which she then disappears after everyone has ran-away. Afterwards, the story begans with an ordinary school-girl name Momiji who is suddenly attacked by a gigantic 7-headed dragon inside of her school!(After she meets a mysterious young-man with a red jacket that is trying to rid of her...) She tries to escape from this treacherous beast, not knowing or understanding what it wants from her! Blue Seed has fanservice in it, so be warned of pantie-shots, wet clothes exposing the shape of momiji's chest, and her skirt being ripped by the aragami monster in the begining. Kusanagi will also refer to/lift Momiji's skirt for her panties time and time again as a joke, in which she will yell "pervert!" and try to slap him. Other than that this is a pretty clean anime. There are a cast of supporting characters whose personalities support the backbone of the main characters. This is a story of the sacrifice of love. How far will you go to sacrifice those who you love? Will you choose between yourself, or for others? Blue Seed ask this question, with a very interesting twist. A must see for anyone that has watched "Slayers" or OutLaw Star. The voice of Momiji is the popular J-Pop singer Megumi Hayashiba"
