This Caillou dvd is okay, but not really what I had expected. First of all, the intro song is a little different than the one seen on tv now. Second, this dvd doesn't only show Caillou episodes back to back. It has all this other scenes with these puppets that are supposed to be his cat Gilbert and some other animals (I forget). Anyway, my point is that these scenes they skip to between episodes are really annoying and disruptive to the sequence. We had borrowed a few Caillou dvds from the library and they were ONLY Caillou episodes -- no other junk on there -- so I wasn't expecting this when I received it. My three year old is not interested in the puppet stuff. He loves Caillou and he just wants to watch the show. I don't know why they put this stuff on it. What's really annoying is that I put the video on and then a few minutes later, my son is calling me to come make the puppet scenes go away (ie fastforward them). That kind of defeats the purpose of putting on a video so I can get a little break. I'm trying to wash dishes or get some lunch made or something and he keeps bugging me. I don't have a problem with any of the actual Calliou episodes on this. I just want people to know it isn't ONLY Caillou you're getting on this dvd.
