Movie Reviews

The greatest BDS&M movie I've ever seen
Topper In Missouri | Joplin, MO | 08/31/2008
(5 out of 5 stars)

"If you, like me, were disappointed with "The Pet" and "The Story of O", because the female lead was complacent in her situation, then this is the movie for you. The young woman is abducted from her apartment and "broken" of the course of a year. Durring the course of the year, she is confined to one room. Every time she tells a lie, her captor deletes one entry from the phone book on her cell phone. When a certain number of entries have been deleted, she suffers a punishment such as being slaped or raped. The young woman in no way, accepts this. She does everything she can to get away from her captor, she even pretends to have Stockholm Syndrome. Here is one example of how twisted the life of this young woman becomes. In the beginning, while she is chained to the bed, she is required to use a poty chair that is shaped like a duck. Towards the end of the movie, when she has been "broken" and no longer has to to be chained at night, she still uses the poty chair. The only thing is that she after she uses the chair, she then takes it into the bathroom and pours it in the toilet (which makes the viewer think that she has been so totaly broken that she deosn't realize that she can actualy use the toilet instead of the poty chair)"
Not Some Garish Bondage Flick
Daniel Waltimire | 09/20/2008
(5 out of 5 stars)

"Don't bee fooled by the somewhat tawdry title; this is not some cheap bondage flick, it is a well crafted, first class drama. Yes, there are chains and handcuffs, as well as sex and nudity, but the story is creative; the characters are interesting, and the cast is memorable. The only real criticism I have is that the use of the attorney scene near the end to wrap up events in the plot is a bit of a cheat on the writer's part. All in all this movie deserves much more attention that it has received and I strongly recommend it."
Don't be fooled by by other ratings.

"First off I bought this movie because of the reviews..Big Mistake. I am a huge movie fan, and was looking for something that was going to WOW me, with either an incredible story, or some great acting, or something...
This film falls short. The film has a very small budget (which usually shouldn't matter) The whole thing is shot on Video, NOT film. The acting is not all that great, but they are interesting characters.
I was looking to add something to my growing Import collection. Instead I paid top dollar for a movie I'll only watch once. A movie that I only watch once is hardly 5 Star material. I'll definetly do more digging before I trust consumer Reviews.. Maybe the 2 actors left these other reviews. It's not worth the money to own."
