Movie Reviews

Weakest of the series but does have some moments!

"
10 years after Chucky ( voiced by Brad Douriff) has been blown up, he has been brought back to life so he can kill and get to Andy Barclay whom is now 16 at a military academy. But when the chuckster finds another young boy whom is a student, he plans on taking over the kids soul and andy must stop him before it's too late.

The weakest of the series but not without some redeming qualities such as gory special effects, some " Full Metal Jacket" in-jokes, and Chucky getting his face sliced off to look like Pizza without cheese.

The DVD is definitely sharp looking in picture and sound quality with no extras at all, it's definitely an alright entry in the Chucky saga."

With action horror and suspense this is anther succsesful and entertaining sequal in the series!!"

"It's about time for Child's Play 3 to be released on DVD! Thank you Universal. Child's Play 3 is a great sequel. Although Child's Play 2 is my personal favorite, Child's Play 3 scores well. I would recommend it to whoever is a fan of the original. It's too bad that really the feel of the "Child's Play" series has ended with Bride of Chucky. Now, don't get me wrong, I loved Bride of Chucky... but I believe with the addition of Bride of Chucky, we may never see the Andy storyline that we all loved in the first three films. I guess all good things have to end sometime.Purchase this DVD!"
Will it be 3 strikes and you're out for Chucky?

"Andy, the boy that the evil "Good Guy" has always terrorized, is a teenager now. After enrolling in a military school and beginning to experience the downsides of being the new kid in town, the last thing Andy needs is to be reminded of his horrible past (Chucky). The last thing Andy would want to hear about is Chucky, but Chucky sure is dying to hear from Andy.Ever since I was a kid, I've always been a major fan of the "Child's Play" movies. Unlike many people, I like the first three films in the saga. I don't really want to say it, but "Child's Play 3" isn't quite as good as the first two movies in this classic horror series, but it's certainly not far behind. In "Child's Play 3," there are still tons of blood baths that all have Chucky's name on them, and almost everything else about the film is well done. The acting is good enough, the special effects aren't bad, and the movie itself is suspenseful, and it never gets boring. However, as great as it is, it's just doesn't quite live up to the greatness of its two predecessors. I guess the main reason I think that, is because the killings don't seem to be as exciting and the movie itself isn't as scary as the other two.If you're a fan of the first two movies in the series or if you like the classic kinds of horror films in which killing sprees are the name of the game, I recommend adding "Child's Play 3" to your collection."
