"when i was informed about this product i somehow got it into my head that there were going to be actual glimpses into the actual recording sessions. that was wishful thinking on my part. i give this product 3 stars based on the intelligence of what's there. there was nothing in this that was especially informative to me other than a bunch of well educated journalists talking about and analyzing all the tracks on the album. it's a history lesson, but not a revealing one. just like these journalists, i've been listening to the album for 9 years. i could have offered just as much, if not more, insight into what the meanings are in the songs. i know i could have offered more than they did for there segment covering track 9, which is "climbing up the walls". i feel that the song is about the mental slavery brought on by notorious ex-girlfriends or family members or teachers. people who purposely make there mark on you and then turn on you or abandon you, and perhaps the damage was not intended but seems to leave an everlasting effect. or i could go deeper and say that the song is about stockholm's syndrome. or i could compare it to the current cia torturing technique scandal here in the us. but yeah, this dvd is rubbish to me. it might do wonders for somebody who isn't as diversly researched in the theories of this album as i myself am."
