"The video cover should have tipped me off. The tape concentrates on the one-handed backhand which is great if that's what you have. A 4.0 player demonstrates the two-handed back-hand.The tape pretty much just covers the backhand groundstroke: cross-court and down-the-line. Instructions on covered concepts are simple and nicely presented. It includes grip, footwork, back swing, pause and continual loop forward-swing, contact point and finish. Tom Avery also shows how to hit the slice back-hand.He goes over how to generate power on the one-handed back-hand in detail, but does not show how this is done with two-hands.He covers the neutral stance, but the open and close stances are not addressed. He also does not address depth production or short-angled cross-court shots. No tips were provided on how to handle a high bouncing back-hand shot.As good as the tape was, I found myself wanting more."

"thorough explanation of backhand techniques. I improved quite a bit after watching this DVD.However, this one mostly focuses on the backhand drive. Should have more explanation of backhand slice, etc."
