The beginning and the end really keep your attention. Director Robert Redford should have cut down some of the boring middle and this would have been much better. A true story that many likely are not aware of happening in our history.

This movie is an amazing part of history that was never taught. I really enjoyed it and learned a great deal about that period of history.

This is a beautiful film, filled with heartbreak and love and rage. The historical details were handled perfectly, not just the costumes but the buildings, the streets, and the manner in which people spoke. All of the actors did amazing work in their roles, but especially James McAvoy and Robin Wright. Very, very sad, and still quite wonderful.
