Movie Reviews

A Bit Sadder Cranford
Julia A. Andrews | Peoria, Illinois | 07/20/2010
(4 out of 5 stars)

"It would have been impossible to top "Cranford" but this second part can take us back to that sleepy hamlet. Many of the outstanding original cast members that were so wonderful return to reprise their roles in this continuation.

There has been a two year gap since part one ended. I must agree with a previous reviewer who found "Return" a bit sadder and emptier than the original. I loved the original story so much that a sequel could have never done it justice in my eyes no matter what. Even then it was far better than a dozen other sequels.

Enjoy the film!
