This is an awesome movie with a star studded awesome cast ... great overlap of interweaving plot lines ... Several of these major actors do some of their best work in this movie .... this is a MUST OWN movie

I find this DVD hard to watch, but find myself, like a dear in the headlights (pun intended) watching. I have lived in LA in the past and find this to be a very real interpretation of the racist hatred that eminates the city. It feels like a time bomb. A covert time bomb, that will explode (and has) without notice at any time. Yet, when we are in the moment and acting at our true core, people act as one, with the understanding that we all matter. I was not raised there and was very confused with what I was witnessing. I have thought of going back in recent times, as I'm looking for work, but this movie arrived at the right time. I don't want to live there. I can't live there.
