Worth The Buy For Bubblegum Fans
02/24/2005
(4 out of 5 stars)

"I was never really in to bubblegum crisis on whole but when i bought this dvd the dark story led me in how they had the enviroment plot and the boomers eating away pieces of humanity i really liked this dvd cant say more or less for the bubblegum crisis but i did end up buying 2040 and the first one i also recommend Parasite Dolls as a add on with this for bubblegum fans or anime lovers that have the grit for a dark story with some adult themes GET IT!"
Excellent Manga.

"The AD Police Files manga is an excellent cop-noir cyberpunk manga, set in the early days of the AD police (before they separated from the NPD for that matter) following a series of seemingly unlinked events as they unfold into a sinister plot to destroy MegaTokyo and Genom City with an uprising of boomers. Divergant in plot from the anime series by the same name, it features the same characters and personalities, with few if any discrepencies beyond when which Kanto earthquake happened (a problem with all the BGC offshoot series honestly). The translation is excellent, the plot dynamic, and the action is as brutal and gritty as the real world that inspired the 'cyberpunk'genre. Any Cyberpunk, sci-fi, noir, or BGC fan will love the AD Police manga. I recommend it wholly.
Konya Wa Hurricane baby!"
