Movie Reviews

It's the DVD itself, not what we want from it.

"Obviously you are a die hard Dido fan if you've gotten this far. Yeah, the DVD has two songs and the ubiquitous bio and pics and our natural perogative means that we'll never be satisfied, but we have to look at the DVD itself. The videos for Thank-You and Here With Me are awesome, high quality videos of our goddess Dido; the pics are good; and the overall presentaion was beautiful. I was skeptical at first in paying C$13.99 for two videos because I thought there should be more but I accept what I can get from her. No, it may not be an encyclopedia of media but it's Dido and it's a fantastic DVD!"
4 Minutes of Here With Me

"Buying this DVD is a difficult decision: now matter how great the experience, you get very few minutes of it. If you are a die-hard DIDO fan, get it. Otherwise, bide your time until a more complete DVD comes out with more footage and additional features -- this DVD is short on both."
Pretty decent

"this dvd contains the music video to the song Here With Me, a live performance of the song Thank You (performed with only a guitar backing), a bio about Dido and a photo gallery. the photos and bio are the identical to the ones at the official Dido website (and every other website as of 01/2001 for that matter).I bought this dvd despite the fact that Here With Me is probably being my least favorite song on the No Angel album, because I really like the song Thank You. The video for Here With Me is pretty good (perhaps better than the video to Thank You) and the Live version of Thank You is fine. Honestly I was somehow hoping for more, but this disc contains exactly what it says it does, so I can't get too bent out of shape. I was probably just spoiled by Bjork's Volumen or something.other info: on this disc her shirts have very long v's in the necks. and the main menu is tastefully animated with music."
Classic Dido

"Dear Amazon Readers,
Dido is one of those singers who you can just lay back and relax to. The new-age feel of Dido's voice is very soothing.
On this DVD, we have two songs performed by Dido: Here with Me (the title song for the television series "Roswell," and "Thank You."

The music video for Here with Me is the same one you would see on either MTV or VH1, very well produced and performed. Thank You is a live performance, which is more unusual to see, unless you have been to a concert where Dido performed. It is a much more personable way to see an artist, not only in how that artist performs, but in how the artists interacts with the audience. Dido seems to really love the audience and make a deep connection with the people who saw her perform.

You can also find a biography of Dido, which tells of how she stole a recorder when she was young, so that she could perfect her musical talents. While I do not advocate the act of stealing property, I think playing the recorder helped Dido mature musically, and made her the great artist she is today.
Regards to All,
