Movie Reviews

Worthless garbage
David Horner | Albuquerque, NM | 03/29/2009
(1 out of 5 stars)

"No lower rating than one star? Ugh!

This DVD is absolutely amateurish. The title wrongly implies a focus on T-Pain's career and his multitude of hit musical collaborations with huge stars. Overall, it ineptly attempts to paint T-Pain as a disrespectful, dispicable "bad boy" by referring to situations/altercations in which Pain was sometimes not even directly involved. Granted, T-Pain is no angel (Who is?), but he's far from a hard-core thug.

Rather than using original (or even up-to-date) material (since it was produced just a few months ago), it simply regurgitates a few direct quotes from old articles and interviews...repeating those same few quotes MULTIPLE TIMES. The info is disappointingly the same stuff you'd have found in the first few results of a Google search (that is, if you had done it two years ago).

The (ridiculously stiff Anglo-sounding) narrator couldn't possibly sound more out of his element - to the degree that it had to have been PAINfully obvious to the producer. I can only compare the narrator to Al Gore trying to sound "street". lol It actually made me cringe to watch this entire video.

This is nothing more than unauthorized, extremely low-budget garbage attempting to capitalize on T-Pain's popularity. The ONLY upside is that I screen-captured a couple pics to use as desktop wallpaper.

***I have re-read this review and I believe it is as balanced and obvective as any you'll find...unfortunately. Most definitely NOT a DVD for fans!

PLEASE save your money...or you'll regret it too!"
