Movie Reviews

A wonderful overview of the band's short career
S. Gozdecki | Chicago | 11/24/2003
(4 out of 5 stars)

"This arrived in the mail for me from amazon.ca on a day that I was home sick with the flu -- and it brightened my spirits significantly! From the on-screen menu onward, this DVD immerses you in a special place of the band's creating. The concert is quite good and nicely mixed in 5.1 (could've used a stronger drum mix, though), and the documentaries and videos are both excellent. Make sure to look hard for the "hidden" Sub Sub documentary -- it's aces, and one of the only ways to hear their out-of-print tunes."
Good but could be better...

"The DVD has a lot of cool things about it. The main menu is interactive, yet takes some used to getting around. The videos are really cool. The live performance is good but way to many video angles, which makes it feel more like a music video rather than live concert footage. The documentary is good, yet i still can't find the "Sub Sub Documentary", which is the second documentary on the DVD. Overall pretty good."
JUST GET IT AWESOME DVD
