The main character has a low paying job as a bicycle messenger. He studies hard, went to collage, has a degree, and continues to study. But, he still can't seem to break into the job he went to collage for. ( It relates to "MOST of the 99%ers of today )The movie is also based on that, that is going on with the world today.

The 10 mins. behind the scene speaks of this.

He can't break into a better job to help his sick mother with her medicine needs, so he plans the perfect crime to help his struggling family. He extorts a fortune from three wealthy Mitt Romney types that got ahead in life by screwing over others. The plan: To abduct their socialite children and collect a healthy ransom of $3-million dollars. Over all a good story. I didn't agree with it all, but I enjoyed watching this movie. I first got it because I like watching Ray Liotta as an actor.
