MOST DISGRACEFUL SCHLOCK EVER MADE!!!
THW | Portland, OR United States | 03/17/2004
(1 out of 5 stars)

"Everything you have heard about this movie is true!...but that does not make it good! The leading man, Neil Stryker, indeed has a chiseled face, a term often used to describe Bruce Campbell, but the physique and charm of a spoiled 15-year-old school boy. He also has a gruff, working-mans voice, but it sounds so unatural and forced it makes one want to slap Neil around a little bit while saying, "Cut it out you bogus nerd!" The sound track is terrible. It constantly fades in-and-out, sometimes even in the middle of someones line. It sounds like a lot of the lines were recorded on several tracks (probably because the bad actors couldn't even get through a sentence without screwing up) and then spliced together to form a complete sentence. It also sounds like someone, with no audio experience what-so-ever, did the sound track the first day they installed their new editing software, while they were learning how to use it! There is some-what of a leading lady/love interest too. Sometimes good looking gals - being the only redeeming quality of bad films - can make a movie worth watching. Unfortunatly this isn't the case in this film. This woman looks like a poser indie-rocker with a 1950's - obviously dyed-black - haircut. She has no genuine feminine qualities or acting ability and appears very uncomfortable in front of the camera. I bet she was the girl friend of someones working on the movie and had to be put in so her feelings wouldn't be hurt. In closing; the gore sucked - it was about equivelent to an early "House of the Dead" video game, and there is a severed arm that looks like it came from a Spencers gift shop in the mall, the sets stunk - a little kid with legos could build something more visually appealing, it looks like it was filmed in somebodys back-yard with a video camera from the 1980's, and finally, how dare the person who wrote the synopsis on the box compare this movie to early Peter Jackson & Sam Raimi films. As one final insult, as if everthing else wasn't bad enough, Sam "R(e)imi's" name is spelled wrong."
Holy $hit!

"I used to get it with these guys from almost the beggining of thier film making carears. I must say this is the best work they have ever done. I live in japan and I saw a copy of this at a video store, I bought it rightaway and watched it. this movie kicks ass."

"This is a low budget bloody as hell comedy! (Don't worry...it's supposed to be funny.) If you're smart, then you'll check this one out."
I see potential here.

"For a strait to dvd cheap horror flick, i was impressed. I could tell that much care went into making this film. There are campy moments here and there, but this movie has great build up and it totaly delivers in the end. No slap stick humor or very many jokes yet still very funny. If ya like good indie flicks, its worth checkn' out."
