One of my all time favorite movies and certainly Molly Ringwald's best performance ever. True story of a 16-year-old girl who is infected with HIV at the age of 16 during a one night stand. In her early 20's she gets sick and is diagnosed with AIDS. Pretty graphic scenes of her many bouts of different illnesses caused by the breakdown of her immune system. She becomes a speaker about her plight. My favorite part of her speeches, "Look at me. I am the face of AIDS but you wouldn't knot it to look at me." She is referring to her upper middle class upbringing. This is one the teens should watch.
