This movie is based on true situation. Peter Straus as the father does his usual great performance as an absentee father who now has custody of his two daughters after their mother is killed. His well to do sister in law fights him for custody. Mary McDonell plays the sympathetic social worker. Great story and performances.

(4 out of 5 stars)

"This was an excellent DVD. For young children the initial scene may be considered slightly violent. The story is from a true life story and the acting was good. It was not a high action DVD."
