"Johnny Cash not only could strum a guitar, write a song and sing it for you too, he also had a knack for acting.
From 1961, FIVE MINUTES To LIVE (also known as DOOR-To-DOOR MANIAC) was Johnny's film debut as a smooth and hard and very cool guitar-toting killer, involved in a scheme to hold a bank executive's wife hostage. What he and his partner (Vic Tayback) don't know, however, is that the banker is planning to run off with his mistress--and the bank's money.
Cash's portrayal is downright sociopathic. His character, John Cabot, is as ready to play his hostage a tune or get under her skirt as he is determined to kill her the minute her time is up.
If you are a Johnny Cash fan or someone who enjoys tick-tick-tick thrillers, this is for you."
