Another Winning Franklin Story
George Buttner | Dayton, Ohio United States | 08/21/2003
(5 out of 5 stars)

"Those that have missed their favorite animated turtle would do well to check out this brand-new story. The plot may sound generic at first, but the story itself is extremely well-written and even makes some nice references to past "Franklin" stories. Everything that's likeable about the series is here and there are a couple of neat surprises as well. There's only one musical number, but it's a catchy one and well worth listening to. The story will easily hold viewers' attention and there's also a supblot that's just as enjoyable as the main story. Some of the characters have different voices, but such an excellent job of casting was done that these differences are barely noticeable, if at all.For even more fun, check out the DVD special features. Nice bonuses include a read-along of an entire "Franklin" story by author Paulette Bourgeois, descriptions of several of the characters with narration and a trivia game. There are also several games available for those who have a DVD-ROM drive."

"Got this for my grandson, age 4. I didn't see it; his mom said he liked it."
