The filmmakers obviously had a lot of money to make a really cool drama-thriller about a bunch of teenagers who go up agains a corrupt small town sheriff. Reminded me a bit of some of the great classics like THE OUTSIDERS and STAND BY ME. Michael Rooker as the crooked cop "Russ" is great. There is a lot of humor in this movie and it reminded me of a sort of grown up version of stand by me. It captures 1980's midwest small town perfectly. I am also a big fan of Austin Nichols, Josh Stewart, and Jason Ritter. What a great up and coming cast. And the cinematography is amazing. I highly recommend this film!"
