I would say that this movie works as a rental and if you have low expectations. Some of the "stories" could be better if the writing was better or if they were longer, allowing for better character development. When I watched this, I was not on the edge of my seat and I was not attached to any of the characters. It seemed to be gory just to be gory, but the make-up and effects were not as realistic as some Halloween costumes that I have seen.
