Happy Tree Friends Season 1: The Big Finish
Steven R. Peck | 09/26/2007
(4 out of 5 stars)

"Here at last are the final episodes of the first season of the Happy Tree Friends TV series that originally ran on the G4 Network. Although G4 seems to have faded away, there are rumors of a second HTF TV season that will begin on Cartoon Network's Adult Swim block about the middle of October 2007. One can only hope. If this is the end of the road for our favorite unlucky cartoon critters, we can rest assured that they will go out with a bang. On this final volume, you'll get TWELVE seven minute segments instead of just nine.

* Sight For Sore Eyes- After Russell and the Mole visit Lumpy the optometrist, will their lives become easier?
* Wipe Out- Lumpy and Cro Marmot go head to head in a deadly surfing competition.
* Letter Late Than Never- Snow, sleet and driving rain won't be able to stop Postman Lumpy, but perhaps a ravenous turtle will.
* Winging It- Flaky finally summons the courage to get onto an airplane, but will she be able to save it from crashing?
* Tongue In Cheek- After the ants ruin Sniffles' picnic, he unveils his ultimate ant-catching device.
* Easy Comb, Easy Go- After a disastrous haircut, Disco Bear tries out Lumpy's super hair tonic.
* In a Jam- Cuddles will do anything to buy a new guitar and join a rock and roll band.
* I've Got You Under My Skin- Giggles gets sick, and Sniffles and Lumpy journey through her bloodstream to find the source of the infection.
* Junk In the Trunk- Lumpy frantically searches for his pet elephant, but Lifty and Shifty may nab the pachyderm first.
* Hear Today, Gone Tomorrow- Lumpy suffers from deafness, and others may suffer as well.
* Double Whammy- Flippy seeks psychiatric help after his latest killing rampage, but the cure may be more that he bargained for.
* Autopsy Turvy- Cuddles and his friends play dress up, but Flippy still has some unfinished business from the last episode.

As always, expect some hilarious commentary tracks from the show's creators and a few other juicy bonuses. Perhaps these bonuses will include the Fall Out Boy music video "Carpal Tunnel of Love" that featured original footage of the HTF's and has made huge waves on YouTube.com. One can only hope."
