Still waiting for that Bollywood Veil Workout Hemalayaa :)

"I thouroughly enjoy the Bollywood workout series by Hemalayaa and was super excited when a new one came out. Hemalayaa's energy is a bit contagious, and she seems much more genuine than most workout gurus so I enjoy her workouts more. I hate some skinny girl who has never truly had to work out in her life saying "good job" every three seconds.
What is different about this movie in the series is that it is less about the steps or moves and more about just getting moving. A lot of the movements truly have no right and wrong. They are just about having fun and getting your heartrate up.
The one thing I didnt like at first was how focused her speech was on your spiritual cleansing. It seemed like we were more focused on getting rid of our negative energy than the weight. After you get into the workout more though you realize that she is just showing you the intent behind your movements so you can make them your own. This truly is less about learning a dance and more about just finding a way to get moving and have fun.
While I love learning Bollywood dance choreography (though there are some elements of the bollywood dance such as the gita walk) and still really want to see her do a Bollywood dance workout with veils for arm toning, this is nice and a welcome addition to my ever growing workout dvd collection. I enjoyed hopping around, shaking my stuff, and definently worked up a good sweat!
I would definently recommend this dvd to anyone who can let themselves go and have fun or anyone who has a willingness to do so!"
Not her best

"Having danced and enjoyed Hemalayaa's DVDs many times, I was really looking forward to this release. However, I was disappointed. The choreography was repetitive - a surprise given that the choreographer was KMG who did Bollywood Burn, Bollywood Dance Workout and Bollywood Booty, all far more entertaining and complex workouts. The narrative was irritating and directed excessively towards spiritual healing and cleansing which would be fine in small doses but not every two minutes. It felt like a quick-release production lacking in complexity. I'm saving it for my dull days."
Empowering, Butt kicking blast!

"I LOVE this workout, while i will say I have only managed to do the first part of it the warmup and the first part of the workout ( so total about 30 min) It is by far my favorite workout ever! I have just a few months ago started working out with Hemalayaa workouts, including one of her yoga ones. I love her, her attitude , good instruction and the fact that she says for certain moves how to adapt it if you have knee issues ( and I do). This workout is time friendly too. If you are looking for a great sweat inducing workout that is fun , empowering and inspirational , look no more- this is it! I love the fact that releasing what is holding you back is such a big part of this dvd. So if you want to have a butt kicking introspective workout you have found it!"
CELEBRATE WITH DANCE

"Hemalayaa continues to host a joyous, positive & loving DVD filled with upbeat music and smiles. With that being said, this is not a dance workout strictly on technique. This features 2-20 minute cardio dance routines: REMOVING OBSTACLES and CELEBRATE. The choreography is uncomplicated and simple to follow. The basic dance moves for both workouts are the "Queen's March" (regular march), "Shake & Bake" (a pivot & hip shake), "Indian grapevine" (grapevine with Indian arms) and "Show walk" (walk in a circle). You'll do these repeatedly and with add-ons to increase cardio by adding movement in the upper body/arms/shoulder/hands, adding a hop, or increase to a faster pace.
REMOVING OBSTACLES is just that, kick off your shoes and liberate yourself from anything holding you back or down. The movement will begin in the lower body, then move onto the upper body. You will remove your obstacles by moving as if you were "sweeping" it away and then "stomping" it in the ground.
CELEBRATE with moves that convey giving and receiving. You will shimmy and plie here plus all the basic moves. Fast percussion beat will assist you in the dance moves and add a cardio pace.
Overall, it has a touch of mystic, spirituality, self-affirmations with an exotic Hemalayaa flair. This is a vibrant, unique dance addition to my fitness library."
