An Excellent story about how hard it is to break down the barriers of hatred and prejudice. In 1955, an American family takes if a Japanese teen who was scarred in Hiroshima and stands firm from the backlash Of hatred and prejudice they get from their neighbors.A heart warming story. This reminds me the DVD "Smile" about a Chinese girl born with cleft palate and has surgery.
