Good History of Ambulance Concept
Dana R. Arbeit | Red Mountain, CA USA | 09/17/2009
(3 out of 5 stars)

"This is a fairly good historical overview of 'the ambulance' especially from the military perspective. The title implies an emphasis on the vehicles but it is really about the organization of patient transport services. I found it a little short on covering the civilian side of ambulance history. I have worked both military and civilian EMS and would like someone to do a show on strictly the civilian side. This DVD is worth the purchase price. As there is so little 'out there' on ambulance work, it is well worth watching to give the viewer an initial overview."
