"An Awesome DVD you got to own for a violin lover! Most DVD I have collected for famous Violin players are black and white. Finally there is a great one with color. Almost all the famouse players in recent years are in this DVD. You got to have it!"
A feast of masters

"Yes, the sound equipment is dated. And yes, some of the color is out of balance. But if you can sit through this double disc without vibrating in your heart, your breath coming only when you remember to are missing the point. This is an extraordinary privilege to see at such close range, the fingering of true masters of their instruments. I am sure there is better sound quality on later discs. I am sure individual performances may rise above this level. But you know what? I don't care. This double disc is a privilege to own.

"After I borrowed this DVD from our local library, I knew that I must own it. It provides a world-class classical experience--on demand--for less than the cost of a concert ticket.

The Four Seasons especially was beautifully rendered. Another exceptional rendering was the Brandenburg concerto. Here is a clip from it:

The timeless beauty of the renderings defies description.

I do not hesitate to recommend this DVD."

"This is an excellent 2 discs set DVD.

Full of excellent music.

There is no classical DVD compared to this one.

Get this one before it's out of print.

I trully enjoy it.
