1/5 Rating - Detour - The video quality was poor in poor but if you like these old school cheesy plotlines, this film noir is for you!

Whistle Stop features a 24-year old Ava Gardner looking divine. I can't say much for the movie, I think it's fair at best. I found it a bit difficult to follow.

Detour is the gem in this set. It's about a guy, Al, hitch hiking to Hollywood to be with his girl. The man that picks Al up mysteriously dies en route. Al thinks that the police will think he had something to do with his death, so he dumps the mans body and assumes his identity, which leads him into a tangled weave of trouble.

The Cat's Canary is an early Aesop's Fable cartoon. It's OK unless you're really into early cartoons.

Both are very good noir movies! I would highly recommend depite the low budget cardboard package. Transfer very watchable from that perspective.
