Movie Reviews

Good for casual infotainment. Not a lot of technical detail

"I am a teacher certified in both the life sciences and the physical sciences. Yes, I have done the homework. I've taken the classes, read the books, listened in-depth to both sides of the argument, done countless hours of extra-curricular research, and am firmly a believer in creation. I say this to let you know that I am not just some fool spouting his unfounded beliefs or ignorant opinions. I'm talking about when it comes to evolution. I once read a comment by an evolutionist saying something to the effect of "If you cannot understand this sentance '(he gave a fairly technical definition of heredity)' then you should stay out of the argument." Well, I understood what he was saying so I thought I had better get into the argument. Thus, here is my review.

This video is great for the creation newcomer or someone with only a casual interest in the topic. I enjoy it for its entertainment value, and it does have good information. However, if you're looking for very specific data or tightly stitched arguments, this DVD is more of a spring board. It will give you some places to go, but not the acctual detailed information. You might not want to take only the information in this video to a seasoned evolution debater."
We love it

"Our son loves this DVD. It is presented really for children I think, although adults will enjoy the humor and the small bits of information about the creatures and how it is simply impossible that they could have evolved.

The man who gives the descriptions of the animals is a former evolutionist who was convinced of Intelligent Design by a close and careful study of various creatures using the "ideals" of evolution. What he found is what most Christians already know, there is no way that all these beautiful and wonderfully complex creatures could have just happened to get that way.

If you are looking for scientific argument or a lot of dry supposed facts, this is not the DVD for you. As I said at the beginning, this DVD is really for young children. It is taught at about a 2nd grade level."
Incredible Arguments that Defy Refutation

""I'm not an atheist. The problem involved is too vast for our limited minds. We are in the position of a little child entering a huge library filled with books in many languages. The child knows someone must have written those books. It does not know how. It does not understand the languages in which they are written. The child dimly suspects a mysterious order in the arrangement of the books but doesn't know what that is. That, it seems to me, is the attitude of the most intelligent human toward God." ~ Albert Einstein

I present the above quotation to more fully express the thesis of "Incredible Creatures." Many are those who would reject this documentary with a contemptuous wave of the hand, and yet in no instance has a negative review gone to the trouble of presenting valid evidence. The whole thrust and tenor of the majority of negative reviews has been, in effect, "The theory of macroevolution very easily explains the emergence of such creatures as are presented in this documentary. Just trust me. It does."

But this is atheistic dogma, not science. Perhaps the strongest validation of this documentary, though, is the mere fact that we continue to wait with interest (but in vain) for a detailed rebuttal of it from the macroevolutionists. Meanwhile:

"The fanatical atheists...are creatures who cannot her the music of the spheres. I do not share the crusading spirit of the professional atheist. What separates me from most so-called atheists is a feeling of utter humility toward the unattainable secrets of the harmony of the cosmos." ~Albert Einstein

All animal life shows us there is a God who created them and

"This is a great investment to help win children back to a Biblical world view that God created all things. Clearly presented with great film footage of animals in their natural habitats and performing tasks that require information that can only be attributed to a creator providing them with that information."
