I wanna know...have you ever seen a Creedence concert?

"Because if I ever hear of one that's out on DVD, I will be the first one to buy it. Frankly, I don't get it. I know people filmed them, and I know that people can remaster image and sound. I know that The Band, Crosby, Stills, and Nash, and even Hendrix has an access of footage that exists. If anyone is holding back on us fans, please cease. Anyway, this DVD is not as essential as you might think (well, the CREAM DVD is, it is full of nice info. and hilarious interviews), but that doesn't mean that you shouldn't buy it if you are a true fan. A musician here shows you how to strum and fingerpick a couple of Creedence tunes, although this is not a tuturial. I just wish the other band members, including its author John Fogerty, would've allowed themselves to be interviewed. Plus, I know there is studio footage somewhere. But in the meantime, just enjoy this "inside" look--it is a good film and it's nice to see Stu Cook today, but don't expect a great archive of unseen material and in-depth liner note-style comments. The film is more like an appreciation of them--but how can they help it? It is very difficult to slam a group that played this well and wrote so many wonderful and timeless songs."
THE GREATEST ROCK BAND EVER ......

"Being an absolutely huge Creedence fan since Proud Mary first came out (my all time fave song is still "Lodi"), I've longed to see something on DVD - it's unfortunate that this is the best there is - unless, like me, you go for the Brazil DVD that others have mentioned - and you also buy about 5 Ed Sullivan DVD's for their lip-synching singles, and a Hullabaloo DVD. It has been suggested many times that John Fogerty will still not allow any of the CCR stuff to come out (ever tried to buy the 4 songs they performed at Woodstock on CD or DVD - OK, I know, 'cos I bought it, that you can get it on the Woodstock CD Box Set but for about $100 !!!)as he feels the quality does not stand up - or, as some have also suggested, he's just still really mad at what he believed was backstabbing by his former band-mates (refer the plaegerising court case of "Old Man Down The Road" versus "Run Through The Jungle").
Still, this is certainly better than nothing - and I agree with the earlier remarks that Stu Cooks displays no malice toward Mr Fogerty (Mind - how could he with all the success that John Fogerty SINGLE HANDEDLY brought the band - and we all thought Ringo was the luckiest ever member of a successful band!!!!). Saw John Fogerty live at a concert here in Perth, Australia about 5 months ago and he still sings and plays as good as he did when I saw him (and the other 3 members of CCR)at the Albert Hall in 1970. I still give this 4 stars because of the scarcity of anything by Creedence on DVD - not because it's a particularly good offering.
We can all but hope that some vintage stuff (the 'Concert' or Woodstock ???) will eventually come out on DVD. Heaven knows we've waited long enough."
Inside Creedence , No music ..only interviews

"I received yesterday These documentary( Thanks Amazon.com Quick service)

But talking about the documentary i expected complete musicals from the ed Sullivan appearences & Johnny Cash show & the concert , but there are only interviews with Stu Cook ( CCR bassist ) & no more.

The "Proud mary" clip from Sullivan apaperend in many times of the interview but not complete so you must to buy Ed Sullivan 60s show fro the complete clip? yes i think so.

I understand there exist a rare DVD with foreign musical clips of Creedence made in Brazil i think that this site offers , is another option for Creedence fans who wanst to watch COMPLETE VIDEO CLIPS OF CREEDENCE CLEAWATER REVIVAL..

Average Movie Rising.

"All- in- all, I guess I can't really say it's bad just not as good as it should be. They're a little critical about Creedence and I was surprised to see that they had wrong inmformation about a song. It really seems that some of the reviwers don't even want to be there and interviews could of been done better. But, it shows you the struggles the band encountered and the triumphs quite effectively. The interviews should have included John, or maybe Dough but all-in-all it's pretty average. I did think, however, that the music videos were pretty good."
