Movie Reviews

Delightful!
Tenor fan | 03/20/2006
(5 out of 5 stars)

"This DVD is entertaining. There are a couple of songs on it that I've never heard (e.g. Irish Rover - very cute!)and it was delightful to see the 3 tenors sing and interact together. Anthony's West's Awake was stunning. Ronan sang Song of Ireland beautifully, and I enjoyed Finbar's Little Bridget Flynn. Some of the songs are accompanied by scenes of Ireland and that added to the enjoyment. I thought all of their voices were in top condition and they were clearly at ease with each other. I thought this was a better DVD than Ellis Island (higher picture and sound quality)."
Disappointing

"The sound reproduction distorted otherwise melodious voices. The voices were harsh and irritating. I routinely enjoy the Irish Tenors but this was a major disappointment."
I beg to differ

"One person wrote that Ronan " Rushed to Dominate." Because of this, I watched very carefully there performances & I could not see any differance in Ronan's actions that would bring anyone to that coclusion. Like all their perfomances, this was "Top of the Hill." This is another 5 STAR performance! Ronan,s love for singing is formost in his gestures & his outgoing personality. The other two love the singing too, but are more subdued in their actions."
