Finally in US

"I have the import version of this DVD and its wonderful... but it only plays in the computer.... and i want it on my big TV. This DVD is fabulous... James Blunt is a talented singer and songwriter and this DVD showcases that. I had seen him in concert in April of this year 2006 and his show was amazing.

And a big plus is all the videos are on here too, and the making of the video. I think all artists should release the best show of their tour on DVD and the promo videos for the album for which they are touring.

Way to go James!!! I look forward to the next album and next tour!!!"
High on emotion

"James Blunt is an artist who can evoke more emotion by lifting one eyebrow than most performers can by gyrating their entire bodies and breaking down into hysterical fits of crying. We see this here, gratefully, in the short but sweet 45 minute concert.

We are also treated to seeing the videos, the making of the videos, and two interviews, both of which were gratifying - perhaps most because in one of them we saw what he looked like completely clean shaven in his army uniform, with short hair parted to the side. Very different look.

His favorite song is "Goodbye My Lover", and it's mine too. When I first saw him perform it on Saturday Night Live, it felt like I was saying good-bye to *my* lover, and the harrowing vocals at the end (I'm so hollow...) put my heart in my throat. At the time, I didn't think I had ever heard an artist display so much emotion with only a piano, a voice, and facial expressions. If there was an Oscar or Grammy for such a thing, he'd get it. That song is what spurred me to buy his CD. I have since seen him perform that song on Oprah, and now on this DVD, and the raw emotion I saw months and months ago is still there. I swear that you can see hints of water in his eyes, like it's still a difficult song for him to sing. Which is amazing, because whether or not that view is correct, that's what it looks like. He's still able to pour that much emotion into a song that he's performed hundreds and hundreds of times.

When watching this last night, I forgot how much I enjoyed his CD. I certainly remember now, and the darn thing has me wetting my lips for the follow-up album."
What is it that was "amended" in this edition?

"I bought the original release last year and so far there doesn't seem to be anything wrong with it.

Was it a technical problem? Was extra content added? What? Would somebody please shed some light on this?

Thanks!
