Movie Reviews

As wonderful to watch as it is to hear!

"I purchased this DVD a while before I watched it. I own all of the Jesse Cook albums with the exception of The Ultimate Jesse Cook (I believe this is a "best of" album). I have been totally blown away by his music since I put the first CD in my machine. Seeing Jesse and the absolutely super musicians he performs with is a must for any fan. If I could rate this DVD twice and total the stars it would get 10. A great audio-visual investment."
Why doesn't this guy get more attention?

"I've listened to Jesse for 3-4 years now but just found out about the DVD and purchased it. I haven't ever seen him "live". This DVD is FANTASTIC!! Superb musicianship, great showmanship, and excellent sound. I really felt like I was there. There are so many great performances and everyone contributing is amazing. Closer to Madness, Tempest, Luna Llena, and It Ain't me Babe are my personal favorites. I can't understand how someone this talented is not more recognized. When you see all of the garbage that gets more attention in the music business and then you see this......you realize what a travesty it is. GREAT DVD!!"
This is it

"I just saw my second Jesse Cook concert and was hoarse from screaming with delight from the performances - especially Chris Church's violin on Closer to Madness and his singing on Fall At Your Feet which brings me to tears it is so beautiful. The group does 2 encores. Jesse is friendly and personable and down-to-earth. Seeing him come to my area only once a year isn't enough hence I bought the DVD.
Special Guests: Ron Sexsmith, Sophie Milman, Melissa McClelland, and Samba Squad.
