Movie Reviews

Jin-Roh an anime masterpiece?
jem16 | Laramie Wyoming | 02/07/2010
(5 out of 5 stars)

"Jin-Roh: The Wolf-Brigade is the most interesting anime film I have ever seen. Set in in the distant future, and in an alternative reality, Japan has turned into a militaristic government society. In this alternate reality Japan turned into a restricted society after WWII and it appears that in the film Germany didn't loose the world war as the Japanese use German WWII weapons. Enter the Wolf brigade a secret military group designed to crack down on the most diabolical threats. The film is incredibly engrossing with great characters that make this other wise dark military world seem human. The animation is top notch with great use of character models and color that truly fits the universe the film is set in. I only watched the English Dub version which is incredibly strong, none of the voices seems out of place. I could go on and on about this anime film masterpiece, but it's a great film worth your time and money to any one who loves anime and great films in general."

"NOBODY could turn this into a real action movie! there are no actors who could portray this characters, or maybe there are, but they are not born yet.

let nobody spoil it for you, see it for yourself.

there is no decent remastered edition of this movie, all of them look a little pale. buy the cheapest one with subtitles."
