"I may not have this word for word, but Link says at one point in this dvd, "if the spirit's there, rock and roll doesn't age". That really sums up what this dvd is about. Some folks will be disappointed that there is no footage of Link in his classic years. This whole disc was done in the mid 90s. Part of it is Link telling his story to an interviewer and the rest is live performances. What's nice is that the interview parts don't overlap with the live songs. This tends to happen alot on these kinds of dvds, but when Link plays a song, he plays it in it's entirety. You see Link here and the guy looks old. Hell, he is old! But when you listen to him tell his story and watch him up on that stage, this guy is excited and enthused. He's a man who obviously loves what he does and has never lost that rock and roll spirit. He talks about his career as though he's telling it for the first time. It's downright infectious, and you love him for it. And a humble guy, no ego at all. Sadly, not many folks will see this. But this was an important man, a man who the entire hard rock genre owes it's existence. Last year we lost one of the greatest and last of the rock and roll pioneers, but thankfully we at least have this dvd for those who'll never get to see Link perform. Good sound and picture quality too. Highly recommended."

"Just an FYI. When I ordered the DVD "The King of Rumble" I was informed by your website that I could get another DVD to complete my collection of the history of Link Wray. This was a special 1/2 price deal so I said ok. It turns out that "The King of Rumble" and "The Rumble man" are the exact same product but with different packaging. The release dates are 2003 and 2006 respectively but the same product nonetheless. It would be a good business practice, at least for this product, to inform the buyer of this information.
Regardless of this review I have had a great experience overall with Amazon and I will continue to purchase my media here.
Thanks,
Gregg Collins"
