Contrary to other review(er), I don't recall any gore or other super-objectionable content.

Honestly, this movie just doesn't hold up well over time. Vaguely recall it as an amusement when I was a kid. Today, eww, no... Just bad... BAD, bad, bad... This movie really doth kind of blow.

Howie Mandel basically just acts the clown and improvises, sometimes rather badly, throughout the movie. Fred Savage is, well, Fred Savage. *Shrug* Maybe kids would still find it vaguely amusing, if only because they don't know any better? Who knows...

Pass.

Stick with Monster Club, The Goonies, Drop Dead Fred, or a host of other much better films of this ilk. Some terribly frightening and seriously gory scenes for a PG movie obviously geared towards middle school sleep overs! Not good.

A Wonderful Movie, With Powerful Imagination!

"Have you ever wondered what goes on under your bed at night? Did you ever think for a second that there might be something living under your own bed? Well, this young boy, whom is played by Fred Savage, (the Wonder Years), soon discovers a whole knew world under his bed. He then meets this friendly young lookin' monster, named Maurice, helps him use his imagination and be able to do the impossible. If you're asking me, I think this film has so much imagination and wonders in it, anyone whose anyone, will enjoy this childlike fantasy. So, take my advise, buy this film, you won't regret it. Or you probably could catch it on cable. This is one magical movie that you could not miss!"

"Richard Greenberg's LITTLE MONSTERS is a classic 80's film that holds up today as well as it did in 1989. PLEASE buy a copy and enrich your life."
