Movie Reviews

Yellowman DVD

"I was/am disappointed. Maybe I recieved a bad copy?? The DVD is grainy and the sound is degraded. The first song has several "skips" in it. I have not sat and actually watched the entire DVD because of the poor quality of the first 15 minutes but I expect that the DVD does not improve as is continues. There was a nice suprise inside though: a CD and a pack of flavored rolling papers... I'm new to Amazon, so I haven't looked into the return policy... but, I need to return this one...."

"Ok, so the video quality is a little spotty in certain areas...but crank this dvd up and enjoy the true essence of Yellowman; this dvd is awesome!!! I learned about this one when I saw "Nobody move, nobody get hurt" from this dvd on another reggae concert compilation. Fantastic sound quality (since we all know that most reggae concert dvds are hit and miss sometimes). This is Yellowman's only concert dvd, and it's well worth it. Highly recommended for reggae lovers who are maybe more into the roots aspect, with some early dancehall stuff intertwined. Not hardcore like Beenie Man or Elephant Man, but plenty of good material to keep both roots AND dancehall fans very happy."
