"This performance, from the 2006 Sunset Junction Festival in Los Angeles, was a revelatory stunner - Jackson emerges as the sun sets, bursts into 'Breakin' Up Somebody Else's Home', and proceeds to shine until dark with oldies, recent songs, and the monologues she's famous for- her band is tight and great (her daughter can sing too!), and the whole thing just feels RIGHT. Thanks, Millie, for sharing this with us."

"It's finally here. Millie Jackson in a live concert that is worth twice the price. She does stuff from back in the day and she adds some of what she is doing today. You can't lose with the Queen of Raunch & Soul. Nobody does it like Millie. She's like Richard Pryor set to music. And everything she says comes out natural. Don't sleep on this one."

"Im a big fan of Millie jackson when my parents went out, i put on Millie's records and she cursed and talked about adult topics that other singers glossed over, her subjects on record were more close to what was really going on, in adult relationships! in this dvd she singings some of her older songs, back in love by Monday, hurt so good, but some of her past hits are missing,
What good here is a song called the lies that we live.and the easy street band is on the money. and she sing some songs for her not for church folks cd"
